Fern fibre substrate is long-lasting and has excellent moisture holding abilities. It also provides excellent air circulation around the root-zone, perfect for healthy root development on your house plants. 
Fern fibre is made from the Dicksonia fibrosa tree fern in NZ which is sustainably sourced, eco friendly, non-toxic and makes the  perfect medium for growing Orchids, aroids and Hoya, to name a few. There isn't a plant in my experience that doesn't like fern fibre! (It's THAT good) 
 
Fern fibre can be used on its own as a potting substrate or propagation medium, it can be mixed into your potting mix to aid in aeration and drainage or it can be used to fill substrate grow poles, like our Thiccly or Plantthingy poles.
