Our Wildvine Hoya & aroid mix is specifically designed blend that is mixed to the perfect ratio for houseplants that love ample drainage and aeration around the root zone. Think aroids (like Monstera, Philodendron, pothos and Anthurium to name a few), Hoya and Orchids.
 
It's composed of high quality substrates that together create the optimal soil-less mix. This also has the added benefit of much slower degradation over time, meaning this mix will last longer without breaking down.
The substrates used also won't compact down over time, meaning there will always be oxygen available for the roots and oxygen to the roots means the risk of ever getting root rot is substantially reduced!
 
Another added benefit is your plants are less likely to attract and host fungus gnats in this mix because it drains the water so freely and has little organic matter that the gnats feed on. This is actually a large benefit I have noticed in my own personal collection is that I have almost no fungus gnats anymore, as I grow 90% of my collection in this mix and for the few gnats that come in with new plants I buy, I use the UBloomed sticky traps to catch them.
 
For plants that like a little more organic matter or a little more water retention, you can mix our Wildvine Hoya and Aroid mix with our Wildvine Houseplant mix at a 50/50 ratio. I sometimes do this for my greenhouse plants, as it reduces my watering frequency. 
 
It is recommended when using a soil-less blend that you feed your plants regularly to avoid any nutrient deficiencies. Our Growth Technology range of nutrients are ideal for this as they contain all the essential nutrients for a balanced plant feed.

Suited for succulents like "donkeys tails" & stapelia, semi-succulents like chain of hearts, string of pearls and Peperomia for example, as well as jungle cacti & Rhipsalis. Even works fantastic for caudex & tuberous plants like Dioscora.
Wildvine Hoya & Aroid Blend ~ A chunky, free draining, soil-less blend that is perfect for growing Hoya, aroids such as Monstera, Philodendron, pothos and Anthurium for example.
Wildvine House Plant Blend ~ A fluffy, free draining, moisture retentive blend, perfect for plants that dont like drying out completly between waterings such as Spathaphyllum (peace lily) African violets, Alocasia and Begonia for example.
